Subject: Halloween MRI

Happy Halloween everyone!

Had my six-month check-up and MRI today, and that pumpkin of a tumor I have is still dormant. That is good news even though I am still hoping that sometime it will shrivel up even more. That makes it two years without a change in size. (It initially shrunk 30% in response to radiation.)

My doc proposed that I consider changing one of my medications to one that has fewer side effects. Does anyone know anything about a drug named Trileptin? I think it is only a seizure medication.

My father started hormone treatments today, and is scheduled to begin radiation in early December.

Anyway, it is a gorgeous fall day in Minneapolis and I am going to skip out a few hours early and go for a ride. I think I deserve it.
