Subject: TOH: Riding Through the Painted Desert

Our ride through the Painted Desert was nothing short of spectacular! We had to look over our shoulders several times to see the spectacular, red sunset that was giving the sand and rocks a beautiful orange hue. This was a more forgiving ride than the past two. The 72 miles from Tuba City to Kayenta, AZ had a long, gradual climb with a spectacular reward at the end: a very bright, unusually shaped and oriented, orange-brown moonrise on the horizon ahead of us.

We are on a mission as you have heard throughout my postings. Along the way we are also being treated to the greatest show on earth.
