Subject: "Slight" Improvement!

You remember the words "One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind..."

The areas of enhancement on my tumor have "decreased slightly in diameter, volume and intensity" according to the neuroradiologist. And the overall tumor size is unchanged. A small improvement, but the first step in that direction (and first good news) in two years. And there is no increased swelling which had been happening. The enhancing areas were the biggest worry because they are areas the tumor was probably changing into a worse type.

Now I just have to stay healthy until the end of June so I can do the next four rounds of chemo and really pummel this sucker. My white count is down but not too bad. Next round is the 24th - 28th.

Heading home to open a really good bottle of wine. Wishing you all a great evening!
